The Bangladesh Australia Association Canberra organised a fund raising event on 14 July 2007 at the Rydges Lakeside Canberra to showcase the rich and diverse Bangladeshi culture and to raise funds for the KIDS with CANCER Foundation Australia. AUSBAN MEDIA CENTRE presented Closeup-1’s (2005/2006) Top artists on the 19th of August at the University of NSW John Clancy Auditorium. Protity arranged a musical evening on the 25th of August 2007 at Kings Langley Auditorium. The program was made up of two parts, the first of which was geeti alekho which comprised of poetry and seasonal songs. The second part, a few artists perform some songs of the old days. Money collected from entry fees will be donated to a poor family in Bangladesh. Photos...
