Monira Hoque
Monira Hoque, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Mofizul Hoque of Ashfield, graduated this year from Fort Street High School with a UAI of 99.05. For her HSC results she achieved an A average for most of her subjects, which are English Advanced, English Extension 1, Chemistry, Physics, Maths Extension 1 and Maths Extension 2. Monira also completed her primary education at Haberfield Public School and prior to that, lived in South Africa. Her interests now lie in pursuing a future in Medicine, Pharmacy or Actuarial Studies/Law. Monira's achievements are to be congratulated and with continued focus she will undoubtedly excel in whatever she chooses to do. We hope that her long-term dedication to her studies serves as a motivation to other students. Her younger sister goes to Sydney Girls and younger brother to Sydney Boys.
