The program started with a speech from the founder, Dr. Monjur Hamid Kochi, a student from the Musical School and Paramesh Bhattacharya, on behalf of parents. The program started with a presentation from the students of the Music School which was followed by the main competition. After the competition there was a short presentation by Shudha Nizhor and a song by Abdullah Al Mamoon, the program ending with the distribution of the competition prizes. Photos... Get together in honour of Mubarak Hossain Khan On 2nd October, 2005, a small get together was held in honour of Mubarak Hossain Khan. Mubarak Hossain was DG in Shilpokalo Academy, Director of Bangladesh Radio and Chairman of the Nazrul Institute. He was also the Executive Director of the Human Development foundation and is also a famous sharad player. Mubarak Hossain did a lot of research in classical music and wrote many books. Citizen Natok- A Successful Production By Sydney Nattyam On 18th of September 2005, Sydney Natyam presented the Citizen natok at Science Theatre, UNSW. The show started with speeches by the chief guests, including H.E. Asraf-Ud-Doulla, Peter Garrett, Federal member, Dr. Abdul Wahab, Ruhul Ahmed Ruhul and some organisers. This was followed by a cultural performance by local artists including a group and some solo songs and some dances. After the dinner intermission, the comedic natok Citizen, written by Bellal Hossain Dhali, started. The natok was directed by Azizul Hakim and Shaheen Sha-newaz.
