Bangladesh Association of NSW Annual Dinner and Cultural Night 2008
Bangladesh Association of NSW organised their annual dinner & cultural night at the Polish Club, Ashfield, on the 24th of August 2008. There were many people who came to the function. The program started on time, with speeches from invited guests including many high officials, such as the Hon Laurie Ferguson, Federal MP; Hon Barbara Perry, MP; Nazrul Islam, Counselor; Bangladesh High Commissioner, Anthony Khouri; Consul General for Bangladesh and many others. After the speeches, the Cricket Tournament trophy presentation was held, followed by performances from the Bangla School children as well as by a few local artists. The Christi band performed after dinner.
