Jatio Shok Dibosh 2010
On the 22nd of August, 2010, Bangabandhu Parishad Australia observed ‘Jatio Shok Dibosh 2010’ at Polish Citizen Club, Ashfield. Many distinguished guests and Bangladeshi community members attended the event. H.E. Lieutenant General Masud Uddin Chowdhury, High Commissioner for Bangladesh to Australia, was also present there and gave an inspiring special speech. The chief guest, Mrs. Tarana Halim MP, came from Bangladesh to be present for the occasion. She delivered informative speech about Sheik Mojibur Rahman’s life, ideology, struggle for Bangladesh, muktijudho and Bangladesh’s current state.
On the 24th of august, a dinner was organised in honour of Tarana Halim MP.
