Fairfield Showground -2018
Bangabandhu Parishad organised a Boishaki Mela on the 7th of April 2018 at FairField Showground as they did every year at Tempe. This is the 1st time ever that any Bangladeshi events have been organised at the Fairfield Showground. The organisers worked really hard this year to move the venue from tempe to Fairfield showground. The weather was perfect, attracting huge crowd. There were many distinguished guests present at the mela . The mela ground was nicely decorated with various stalls, surrounded by green trees and green grass park. There were many presentations during the program such as children’s dance, recitations, performances by bands and local artists. The organisers are very happy with the success of this mela and will continue in future.
