Fairfield Showground -2019
Bangabandhu Parishad organised a Boishaki Mela on the 7th of April 2019 at FairField Showground . This is the 2nd time ever that any Bangladeshi events have been organised at the Fairfield Showground. The weather was perfect, attracting huge crowd. There were many distinguished guests present at the mela . The mela ground was nicely decorated with various stalls, surrounded by green trees and green grass park. There were many presentations during the program such as children’s dance, recitations, performances by bands and local artists. Habib & Ferdous Wahid came from Bangladesh as a special guest artist. The mela ended with Fireworks display.The organisers are very happy with the success of this mela and will continue in future.
