Sydney-based monthly Newspaper “Muktamancha” organised a program for the launch of the new book “Life and Politics of Sheik Mujibur Rahman”, written by famous writer and researcher Monayam Sarkar, on the 1st of November, 2008 at East Lakes, Sydney. Monayam Sarkar launched the book and gave a speech in front of many distinguished guests and community leaders. The guests and community leaders also gave speeches. Mahboob Hassan Saleh, Hon. Acting High Commissioner in Australia, Bangladesh Government, was also present at the function and gave a speech. Al Noman Shamim, founder of Muktomonch, nicely organised the program with dinner being served at the end.
