Al Noman Shamim Special Dua Held In Honour of the Infamous Artist, Abdul Latif On the 19th of March, 2005, there was a special prayer held for the passing away of the famous and renowned artist, Abdul Latif at Kings Langley Public School Auditorium. Dr. Abdur Razzak led the sermon and made a special dua for the departed soul. After the dua, Mr. Sirajus Salekin, son of Abdul Latif, spoke of some fond memories he had of his father. Following that, he asked a couple of his acquaintances, Ashis Bablu, Anwar Akash, Dr. Qaiyum Parvez and Nazrul Islam, to speak of some of their finer memories they had of the famous artist themselves.

The All Party Action Committee met on the 6th March, 2005 with Reza Kibria (son of S.A.M.S. Kibria) at Parramatta MRC. Bengali communities came along and listened to his speech on the details of his father's death and the current state of Bangladesh and its government. Many local communities took part in the discussion and delivered enlightening speeches suggesting ways in which people can help the situation.
