A fund-raising dinner was organised by the Bangladeshi Friends of Action Aid Australia Inc to raise funds for the Action Aid project with the intention of acquiring land in the Dhaka region to build premises to house the project and to provide ongoing support for the more disadvantaged and street girls in Bangladesh. We pray for her departed soul and express our deepest condolences to all the members of her bereaved family. Her Namaj-e-Janaza will be held tomorrow 27 July at 12:00 pm at the AUBURN Gallipoli mosque, Auburn. Samia binte Sirajul Haque Choudhury, a senior
community member of the Bangladesh Community, Sydney passed away yesterday,
29th June at 10:50pm at the St. Joseph Hospital, Auburn (Inna Lillahi Wa
Inna Ilaihi Rajiun). She was diagnosed with Lung Cancer about 2 years ago.
She lived in Erskine Park for about 20 years before moving to Auburn last
year. She was a teacher of NSW Tafe till her death. She was a soft spoken,
pious and kind hearted lady well known for her generosity. She along with
her other family members have donated a large amount of money for the
Ahasania Mission cancer Hospital, Dhaka. May Allah reward her with a place
