Today is Victory Day in Bangladesh
It's a day when Bangladesh achieved its independence from Pakistan after a nine-month bloodstained liberation war in 1971, where countless innocent Bengalis were slaughtered by a marauding Pakistani army and their Bengali auxiliaries including Rajakars, Al-Badr and Al-Shams.
